I bought this book and saw the movie. My husband and I were having problems, and I had hoped the book or the movie would help us get back together, but it did not. The movie was very good, as well as the book. But as I'm sure you know, you can't count on a book to pull a marriage back together. But I do recommend the book.

The "Love Dare" is a must read for anybody who is or has ever been married. If you read it and take seriously what you read, it will cannot help but strengthen your marriage, or move any relationship to the next higher level. It will be tough, but i twill be worth it!

As a marriage therapist for the past 30 years, I can't recommend this book more for people who are aware that Christ is present in our lives. Love is the presence of God in us. Through our highest quality, the ability to choose, we discover that Love is a choice ever present to us, a decision, an action. The 40 day model allows people to have an experience of Love with them and through them. As they experience that Love is it's own reward, they can see their spouse as more separate and love them more.
